Return & Refund Policy

Return Window

Wayne Door offers a 30-day return policy from the date of delivery.

To be eligible for a refund:

  • The item must be unused and uninstalled
  • The item must be in its original packaging
  • The product must be in resalable condition

Returns requested after 30 days from delivery will not be accepted.

How to Initiate a Return

All returns must be initiated through our website via your Shopify customer account.

To start a return:

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Select the order you wish to return
  3. Follow the return request instructions

Returns sent without being initiated and approved through our Shopify system may be refused. Wayne Door reserves the right to approve or deny any return request.

Installed Products – No Returns

Products that have been installed, partially installed, modified, or used are not eligible for return or refund.

Due to the nature of garage door and related mechanical components, once installation has occurred, the product cannot be safely resold.

If a product shows signs of installation, mounting, wear, or alteration, the return will be denied.

Security Tape & Opened Packages

Certain products may be shipped with a security tape or tamper-evident seal.

  • If the security seal is broken, the product is considered opened.
  • Opened packages are subject to inspection upon return.
  • A restocking fee of up to 50% may apply if the item cannot be resold as new.

Wayne Door reserves the sole discretion to determine product condition upon inspection.

 

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Installed products
  • Used or damaged items
  • Custom or special-order products
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Gift cards

Return Shipping

Wayne Door will provide a return shipping label at no additional cost to the customer.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Wayne Door is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Inspection & Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item:

  • You will be notified of approval or denial.
  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

 

Refund processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photos of the packaging and product.

Failure to report shipping damage within 48 hours may result in the denial of the claim.

Customer Installation & Liability

All products sold through our Shopify store are customer-installed products.

Wayne Door is not responsible for:

  • Improper installation
  • Compatibility issues
  • Labor costs
  • Property damage
  • Personal injury
  • Product failure due to misuse or modification

By purchasing from our store, you assume full responsibility for safe and proper installation.
